The Bagebi Cableway was built in the 1980s by GeoSpecTrans and rehabilitated in 2019. It connects Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University's so-called High and Cross Buildings and the library to Bagebi.
Its length is 320 meters, and each wagon can transport 40 people. The journey time does not exceed 4 minutes.
